The Swallow’s Nest
Saturday afternoons, once per month, we gather in the Llanerch Fellowship Hall to praise God in song and prayer. The Swallow's Nest opens our doors and our hearts to become a more welcoming, more accessible, and more diverse community.
Who is welcome?
We welcome everyone to enter and to become part of God's house of prayer for all peoples. Our Fellowship Hall is accessible and flexible, allowing for people of different abilities to attend. The liturgy and music are kid-friendly and engaging for all ages.
What is it?
What should I expect?
The music will often be different from our Sunday morning services, with more focus on participation, rhythm, and movement. Your clothing can be casual, to give you the freedom to feel comfortable. Children are encouraged to take part in worship from beginning to end.
Can I participate from home?
We will not be livestreaming this worship, in order to help every person who attends feel welcome. Soon, though, we hope to offer previews of the music and messages on our YouTube channel.
Psalm 84:1, 3-4
How lovely is your dwelling place,
O Lord of hosts!
Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest for herself,
where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O Lord of hosts,
my King and my God.
Happy are those who live in your house,
ever singing your praise.
